📋 Description

• Create innovative solutions to meet company business and technical needs • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software and test suites • Work collaboratively with the development team • Troubleshoot system issues and monitor performance • Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to develop solutions meeting requirements and compliance standards • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to other engineers • Attend regular team, department, or leadership meetings • Provide additional availability or flexibility for escalations as needed

🎯 Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Ruby and Rails (or similar technologies), test suites (e.g. minitest), and third-party API integrations (e.g. Twilio, Stripe, etc.) • Proficiency in frontend technologies such as Bootstrap, CSS, and JavaScript • Proficiency in database technologies such as Postgres • Experience with software development tools and processes such as Git, pull requests, and Agile • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams • Ability to translate abstract business concepts into technical deliverables • At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience • Must be able to work at a computer for extended periods • Must be able to use standard computer equipment for prolonged periods • Must be able to perform repetitive motions, including typing, reading, and reviewing code and technical documentation • Must be able to communicate effectively via written communication, video conferencing, and in-person meetings • Must be able to participate in meetings and collaborative work activities during standard business hours
