📋 Description

• Lead the design and evolution of infrastructure, platforms, and services enabling machine learning models to run in production • Build and operate scalable, reliable, observable ML-powered services at global scale • Work closely with ML Scientists, Data Engineers, and Product teams to deliver robust ML-powered solutions • Influence architecture and drive engineering excellence • Serve as a senior technical leader across a globally distributed team • Mentor engineers • Deploy and operate machine learning or generative AI workloads • Implement modern observability practices • Work with vector databases, feature stores, caching technologies, and infrastructure-as-code • Manage GPU infrastructure, workload scheduling, performance tuning, and cloud cost optimization • Lead complex technical initiatives and collaborate across diverse stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience building and operating large-scale, production-grade distributed systems and microservices • Strong proficiency in Python, Go, and/or TypeScript • Deep expertise in API design, system architecture, scalability, resiliency, and performance optimization • Hands-on experience building CI/CD pipelines, cloud-native applications, and AWS infrastructure • Experience with AWS services including ECS, EKS, Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, IAM, and CloudWatch • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, or similar containerization and orchestration platforms • Experience supporting high-availability production workloads • Proven ability to lead complex technical initiatives, influence architecture, collaborate across diverse stakeholders, and mentor engineers • Experience deploying and operating machine learning or generative AI workloads using vLLM, Triton, TorchServe, SageMaker Endpoints, or similar serving frameworks • Familiarity with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, and CloudWatch • Experience with vector databases, feature stores, Valkey/Redis, and infrastructure-as-code solutions such as CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform • Knowledge of GPU infrastructure management, workload scheduling, performance tuning, and cloud cost optimization • Experience serving as a technical lead or mentor for distributed engineering teams • Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools • Willingness to apply even if experience or skillset does not align perfectly with every requirement
