📋 Description

• Own a frontend domain end to end, including architecture, quality, evolution, and production behavior • Set technical direction within the frontend platform and design patterns that solve product needs • Delegate meaningful build work to AI agents and write code directly when debugging or complexity requires it • Solve difficult frontend problems in production and lead diagnosis of behavior, performance, or reliability issues • Make browser-support tradeoffs and remain accountable for shipped software and incident learnings • Partner with Product, Design, QA, and full-stack engineers to shape solutions • Define accessibility and testing standards and ensure changes are verifiable before release • Enable consuming teams to evolve safely as the platform changes • Mentor engineers, review consequential changes, and make strong engineering decisions repeatable

🎯 Requirements

• Deep TypeScript and modern frontend engineering experience • Substantial application development experience with Angular, React, or a comparable framework • Understanding of component architecture, state and reactive data flows, routing, rendering, APIs, asynchronous behavior, and frontend design tradeoffs • Strong semantic HTML, CSS, DOM, event model, rendering, browser APIs, progressive enhancement, and cross-browser fundamentals • Ability to diagnose frontend issues using profiling and developer tooling • Experience designing reusable frontend systems, including component API design, composition, tokens, theming, package and version management, migrations, and backward compatibility • Ability to design and own frontend testing strategies across unit, component, interaction, visual-regression, and end-to-end levels • Ability to define accessible interaction patterns and validate them with assistive technology • Ability to diagnose rendering, network, and browser performance using instrumentation and evidence • Deep understanding of frontend security and privacy, including XSS, authentication and session handling, browser storage, sensitive data in logs, analytics and URLs, and third-party scripts • Technical leadership, sound technical decision-making, mentoring, and meaningful production and incident responsibility • Experience working AI-first with agentic tools for planning, implementation, testing, and review • Experience with Jest, Testing Library, Playwright, Storybook, or similar tooling preferred • Hands-on Angular expertise, Storybook or visual-regression tooling experience, or contributions to a shared component library are bonuses
