📋 Description

• Collaborate with clients, digital leaders, solution architects, and technical and functional leads across Guidehouse digital teams and market segments. • Support client engagements, growth initiatives, and capability development. • Serve as a key member of the modernization team. • Address technical challenges, deliver demonstrations, and build innovative solution prototypes using cloud architectures and modern software technologies. • Provide hands-on full-stack engineering for scalable, secure, distributed systems. • Use modern programming languages, cloud-native and microservices architectures, containerization, and API-first design patterns. • Collaborate with UX designers, platform engineers, product owners, solution architects, and business analysts. • Design, build, test, and deploy high-value, operationally resilient software products on AWS. • Ensure software products meet functional and non-functional requirements.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of FOUR (4) years of relevant experience in full-stack application development. • Bachelor’s degree required, or a minimum of an additional FOUR (4) years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree. • Minimum of THREE (3) years of experience developing cloud applications to build and modernize applications and datasets on AWS. • Experience implementing frontend and backend services for cloud-native software products and solutions using technologies such as Python, JavaScript, Django, and Vue.js. • Required technical skills include proficiency in Python and JavaScript. • Django experience is preferred; equivalent experience with Flask, FastAPI, Falcon, or SQLAlchemy may be considered. • Vue.js experience is preferred; equivalent experience with React, Svelte, or Angular version 1.6 or higher may be considered. • Proven ability to work independently while collaborating with, mentoring, and supporting team members to solve complex technical problems. • Proven ability to develop software products and solution prototypes, using prototypes to validate technical strategies and clearly communicate the trade-offs of complex design alternatives. • In-depth understanding of Agile and Scaled Agile practices and principles, with proven experience planning and implementing software products with agility. • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship. • Candidates must be U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents (Green Card holders) to be eligible for consideration. • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD Public Trust; approved adjudication is required prior to onboarding. • AWS Certified Developer certification is nice to have. • AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification is nice to have. • Experience with Flask, Docker, Amazon EKS/Kubernetes, AWS Step Functions, Amazon EventBridge, AWS Lambda, Amazon API Gateway, Elasticsearch, caching frameworks, Redis, Memcached, Amazon RDS for PostgreSQL, and/or MongoDB NoSQL database services is nice to have. • Familiarity with AWS SAM, Model-View-Controller design patterns, and AWS Well-Architected Framework principles is nice to have. • Proficiency delivering cloud-based software products using modern CI/CD pipeline tooling is nice to have. • Hands-on cloud software development or engineering experience in AWS is nice to have. • Proven ability to design, build, test, and deploy software products and solutions on AWS is nice to have. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are nice to have.
