📋 Description

• Build reliable, scalable, and maintainable software for a mission-critical enterprise platform • Manage the complete lifecycle of product pricing across 100+ global markets • Support product catalog ingestion, cost modeling, pricing calculations, and distribution of finalized pricing data to commerce and finance systems • Develop a modern React frontend • Build and maintain Spring Boot microservices, REST APIs, event-driven integrations, batch processing, and shared domain libraries • Work with AWS cloud-native infrastructure, including EKS, RDS, and S3, plus Google BigQuery and Apache Kafka integrations • Use trunk-based development and automated CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and ArgoCD • Improve code review quality and define architectural patterns • Reduce technical debt and strengthen testing and observability practices • Coach and mentor engineers through technical discussions and mentorship • Develop reusable AI prompts, project context, steering files, MCP configurations, and team workflows • Help the team adopt effective AI engineering practices while maintaining code quality, security, and engineering judgment

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience • 3+ years as Senior Software Engineer or Technical Lead • Expert-level Java 17+ (preferably 21) • Expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, and Hibernate • Strong command of architecture, concurrency, performance, resiliency, and error handling • Strong frontend experience with React and TypeScript • Experience with modern state management such as React Query, Zustand, or equivalent • Deep knowledge of relational databases, especially PostgreSQL, including schema design, query optimization, indexing, transactions, and migrations • Experience designing and evolving production-grade REST APIs, including versioning, authentication/authorization, pagination, validation, and backward compatibility • Experience with unit, integration, contract, and end-to-end testing • Experience with quality gates in CI/CD pipelines • Experience with Git, trunk-based development, code reviews, automated CI/CD, and static analysis • Working knowledge of AWS cloud-native applications, including EKS/Kubernetes, RDS, and S3, or equivalent • Knowledge of containerization, scalability, and observability • Hands-on experience with LLMs and AI products, including building, integrating, or operating them in production • Leadership potential and genuine interest in leading a team through mentoring, technical direction, and raising engineering standards
