📋 Description

• Lead the design, engineering, and evolution of enterprise Google Cloud Platform infrastructure and platform capabilities • Provide technical leadership for secure, scalable, resilient, and automated cloud solutions • Plan, design, implement, and continuously improve GCP infrastructure, cloud-native services, and platform engineering capabilities • Develop architecture patterns, engineering standards, automation solutions, and reusable platform capabilities • Evaluate cloud products and services and assess integration requirements across interconnected technologies • Provide technical leadership for cloud platform initiatives and modernization efforts • Partner with cloud platform engineering, cybersecurity, enterprise architecture, infrastructure, SRE, and application delivery teams • Develop and promote cloud standards, reference architectures, governance controls, and platform best practices • Lead architecture and design activities for initiatives involving cloud computing, container platforms, automation, IAM, networking, observability, and operational resilience • Provide technical guidance to engineering teams and help resolve complex technical challenges • Drive alignment across stakeholders and influence architecture decisions • Promote Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD automation, cloud-native architecture, policy-based governance, and platform engineering practices • Operate Google Cloud Platform as an internal product focused on adoption, usability, security, reliability, operational excellence, governance, and developer enablement • Work with considerable latitude and minimal supervision

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline • 8+ years of infrastructure, platform engineering, cloud engineering, or architecture experience • 3+ years designing and operating public cloud solutions • 2+ years working with Google Cloud Platform or similar public cloud platforms • Experience designing large-scale cloud architectures in regulated enterprise environments • Experience with Infrastructure as Code, Terraform preferred • Experience with cloud platform engineering, automation, and self-service enablement concepts • Experience with Kubernetes platforms such as Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) • Experience designing and implementing CI/CD and automation solutions • Experience implementing cloud security and governance controls • Strong understanding of networking, identity, observability, and cloud operations • Proven ability to influence technical decisions across teams and organizations • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills • Ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office • Minimum internet speed of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload • Satellite and wireless internet service is not allowed • Dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information
