📋 Description

• Define and implement automation frameworks and strategy across unit, integration, API, and end-to-end testing • Develop and maintain automated tests to improve coverage and accelerate defect feedback • Help define test architecture across frameworks and tooling • Manage test strategy, product testing, and sprint planning • Create test plans, test cases, and other testing documentation • Find, report, and track bugs through resolution • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Development, DevOps, Business Analysis, Project Management, architects, and Quality Engineering teams • Provide test results and quality insights to Development and Product teams • Use AI tools including Playwright MCP, Claude, and Copilot to improve testing efficiency • Maintain and refine quality metrics and communicate product health • Drive QA release processes and unblock issues • Partner with developers and architects to ensure testability, automation coverage, and quality gates • Integrate automated API and foundational-service testing into CI/CD • Build functional, contract, and performance checks to improve stability, performance, and resilience • Support legacy-component modernization, compliance, and risk remediation • Own automation outcomes and continuously improve stability and coverage • Contribute code, pair with engineers, and ensure reliable automated coverage each sprint • Lead through influence and shape engineering, quality, and delivery decisions

🎯 Requirements

• 12+ years of Quality Assurance and Test Automation experience • Demonstrated team leadership and experience building automation from the ground up • 12+ years of End-to-End User Acceptance Testing (UAT), functional testing, black box testing, and software quality practices • 12+ years of experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as qTest, Azure, or equivalent platforms • 10+ years of experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, and/or Playwright • 10+ years of experience with Python, TypeScript, Java, or JavaScript • 8+ years of experience developing automated API tests in scripting or programming languages • 8+ years of experience with API automation frameworks such as Pytest or REST Assured, or similar tools • Preferred: experience with AI-powered development and testing tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, Playwright, or similar • Preferred: experience with Eclipse or other IDE tools • Preferred: experience with distributed version control systems such as GitHub or Bitbucket • Preferred: familiarity with Sonar, FindBugs, or Checkmarx • Preferred: experience with Docker and Kubernetes • Preferred: experience with Azure Databricks and Postgres • Preferred: experience establishing and reporting quality engineering metrics • Must be able to work without work visa sponsorship • Minimum home internet speed of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload • Dedicated workspace without ongoing interruptions to protect PHI/HIPAA information
