📋 Description

• Work as part of a team under the supervision of a Program Manager • Design instructional material for customized training courses • Assess learning needs to design, develop, deliver, and evaluate employee courses and instructional packages • Create new and revise existing training programs and curricula • Ensure training programs adhere to instructional systems design practices and principles • Work with program offices to validate that training needs and requirements are addressed • Provide consultation and perform instructional design functions • Analyze the agency’s current and future learning needs and goals • Create a detailed strategic and tactical project plan for the Full Lifecycle of Training Support at the agency • Participate in product development and review for adherence to style and storyboard guidelines, writing standards, course/task flow, SCORM conformance, and Section 508 compliance • Develop clear and concise linear and non-linear storyboards for programmers/online developers, including graphics concepts, audio scripts, user interactions, navigation, and related elements • Leverage AI to streamline the training development process

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of applicable work experience • Superior use of the English language, including the ability to read, comprehend, and communicate information and ideas effectively • Proficiency with word-processing, spreadsheet, and presentation tools, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Master's Degree • Knowledge of human-computer interaction and performance-centered design • Ability to apply instructional design principles to gaming and simulation environments • Experience and working knowledge of at least one rapid development tool, such as Articulate Storyline or Articulate Rise • Detailed knowledge of Section 508 requirements as applied to course design and development • Experience developing video/motion-graphic storyboards • Experience with design production tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite • Familiarity with Communities of Practice and social networking and online collaboration tools for learning • Experience serving Federal clients, particularly FDA • Experience working in consulting firm environments
