📋 Description

• Work cross-functionally across Sales, Product, R&D, and Implementation teams • Work alongside Solutions Consultants and Account Executives on strategic accounts and net-new opportunities • Own discovery, technical scoping, architecture, implementation, evaluation, productionization, adoption, and handoff for strategic customer solutions • Stand up the current product on customer data to prove value within sales deals • Rapidly prototype near-production-ready solutions when product capabilities are insufficient • Build the smallest safe prototype to test hypotheses within deal timelines • Engineer production solutions for security, reliability, observability, maintainability, and architectural integration • Build, deploy, and evaluate solutions using customer data • Measure adoption, workflow impact, reliability, and time-to-value; iterate with stakeholders • Partner with Product and R&D to turn validated customer patterns into roadmap investments, reusable components, and platform improvements • Develop reusable accelerators from recurring customer needs • Develop and continuously update solution specifications with customers • Evaluate business potential, market needs, competitive differentiation, and functional and technical specifications with Product • Coordinate customer needs, ideas, roadmaps, and visions with Product and Sales organizations • Measure role outcomes through influenced ACV, prototype delivery time, prototype graduation to production, accelerator reuse, and product gap decisions

🎯 Requirements

• Customer-facing and commercial ability • Ability to run technical discovery sessions and hold value conversations with technical and business stakeholders • Ability to connect technical solutions to customer outcomes and deal value • Ability to generalize customer solutions into reusable accelerators • LLM application development • RAG, prompt and context engineering, and agent orchestration • Judgment regarding single versus multi-agent patterns and memory and state handling • Experience with modern AI coding tools such as Claude Code • Familiarity with enterprise integrations in a regulated utility market • Familiarity with ESRI ArcGIS/Smallworld, IBM Maximo/EAM, SAP/Oracle ERP/PPM, and PowerBI/reporting systems • Technical and functional understanding of REST and streaming APIs, authentication patterns, and enterprise systems-of-record integration • Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed, up to ~50% • Software or data engineering background (preferred) • Experience building and shipping maintainable working software (preferred) • Fluency in Angular, Python, or a similar language (preferred) • Understanding of SQL, data modeling, and ingestion, transformation, and serving pipelines (preferred) • Strong debugging against imperfect customer data in live environments (preferred) • Production engineering experience in observability, performance, and operating at scale (preferred) • Prior customer-facing technical work, solutions engineering, forward deployment, technical consulting, or startup experience (preferred) • Prior experience deploying AI in enterprise or regulated environments (preferred)
