📋 Description

• Lead the design, implementation, and management of complex data infrastructures across multiple projects • Create scalable, efficient, and secure data solutions using relational databases, cloud technologies, and big data tools • Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously • Collaborate with senior and staff data architects and data engineers to ensure successful delivery • Provide leadership and direction on enterprise-level data integration strategies • Mentor staff and senior team members in developing high-quality data architectures and pipelines across cloud and on-premise systems

🎯 Requirements

• Expert proficiency with SQL and extensive experience with traditional RDBMS such as Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL • Extensive experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform for data architecture and storage solutions • Mastery of Python and PySpark • In-depth knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and tools, including SSIS, Informatica, Azure Data Factory, and Databricks • Outstanding communication skills for stakeholder and team collaboration • Expert understanding of Product Management, Project Management, or Program Management philosophies and methodologies • Demonstrated ability to stay updated on industry trends and advancements • Proven experience providing mentorship and guidance to junior and senior architects • Preferred: Master’s degree in an analytics-related field and 4 years of experience, or 8 years of professional analytics experience, or bachelor’s degree in an analytics-related field with 6 years of experience • Experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, and Delta Lake • Proficiency with Kafka, AWS Kinesis, or Azure Event Hubs • Experience working with APIs to retrieve and integrate external data • Experience developing APIs to provide data as a product • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for data engineering workflows • Knowledge of data governance frameworks and compliance standards such as GDPR and HIPAA • Experience in a healthcare environment • Familiarity with Tableau, Power BI, or Looker • Ability to work Monday–Friday, 8AM–5PM MST, with one on-call shift per quarter • Ability to remain sitting or standing for long periods while working on a computer, telephone, or other equipment
