• Directly promote Jazz Pharmaceuticals’ products • Develop and manage business relationships with therapeutic specialists within an assigned geographical territory • Implement Jazz Pharmaceuticals’ marketing strategies and tactics to achieve short-term and long-term objectives • Educate physicians and other health care professionals about Jazz Pharmaceuticals products and approved indications • Achieve individual sales goals and Key Performance Indicators • Organize and facilitate meetings for medical and product information exchange in compliance with company policies and regulatory/legal requirements • Analyze designated territory business, prescribing and decision processes, and differences from national trends • Educate and influence healthcare professionals and staff on products using available resources • Help offices navigate prescriptions from required REMS forms through insurance criteria to patient receipt • Prepare and execute business and territory tactical plans, including cross-functional collaboration • Establish and maintain relationships with physicians and healthcare professionals identified in business plans • Work with MSL, Managed Market, and Access and Reimbursement teams to meet physician, healthcare professional, and patient needs compliantly • Present a positive and professional image consistent with ethical pharmaceutical marketing policies and procedures • Comply with applicable federal and state legal and regulatory guidelines • Perform activities within allocated budgets with timely execution and reporting • Report directly to a Regional Sales Manager • Travel frequently between meeting sites, including possible extended drives, flights, and overnight stays
• MUST HAVE PHARMACEUTICAL SALES EXPERIENCE • Four year college/university degree or equivalent is required • Must have a minimum of five years of pharmaceutical sales experience • At least two years of specialist sales experience is preferred • Current relationships with hospitals, sleep labs, neurologists, pulmonologists and sleep specialist within aligned territory preferred • Hospital/Account based experience and closed access account navigation is preferred • Sleep and Central Nervous System therapeutic sales experience is preferred • Specialty sales and/or Orphan/rare disease therapeutic sales experience a benefit • REMS/hub or central pharmacy experience helpful • Buy and Bill experience is preferred/helpful • Post-graduate business school study, training is preferred • Strong knowledge of product(s), competitor product(s), and applicable disease states desired • Strong understanding of payer landscape and managed care criteria desired • Experience in planning and execution of launch and push and pull through strategies of new products • Excellent communication, interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills are required • Self-motivation and ability to excel in a team environment
