📋 Description

• Lead one or more Agile development squads within the Software Engineering group, delivering scalable and high-quality platform capabilities and client solutions • Partner with Product Owners, Solution Architects, QA, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions • Drive end-to-end delivery of engineering initiatives with predictable execution, high quality, and alignment to product and client implementation goals • Mentor and support engineers through technical guidance, coaching, and performance feedback • Contribute to the design and development of distributed systems and microservices architectures • Champion code quality, automated testing, documentation, and operational readiness • Improve test automation coverage and quality engineering practices with QA and SDET teams • Define and evolve CI/CD strategies and infrastructure for automated, secure, and efficient deployments • Foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, accountability, and continuous improvement • Communicate technical approaches and decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• 8–10 years of software development experience • 2+ years of engineering leadership or team management experience • Proven experience leading Agile development teams delivering production-grade software systems • Hands-on expertise in backend and frontend technologies, including Java, Spring, and Angular • Strong understanding of Java architecture, event-driven design, Kafka, pub/sub messaging, and scalable microservices • Experience with cloud-based, containerized production environments using Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform • Ability to define and evolve CI/CD strategies and infrastructure • Knowledge of test automation strategy and frameworks, including test coverage analysis, parallel test execution, and CI pipeline integration • Experience with Playwright, Selenium, Rest Assured, Postman, SoapUI, or similar testing frameworks • Experience with test-first development approaches, preferably BDD • Strong communication and collaboration skills in a matrixed organization • Ability to mentor engineers, drive team accountability, and maintain focus on high-quality outcomes
