📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and support a cross-functional team of engineers delivering growth-critical systems and features • Collaborate daily with Product and Design to define scope, set priorities, and ensure seamless execution • Maintain clear expectations, realistic estimates, and transparent stakeholder communication • Provide technical guidance for architectural and implementation decisions • Foster accountability, trust, learning, impact, and autonomy within the team • Improve team processes, communication, and collaboration across time zones • Partner with other engineering leaders on consistency and best practices across Growth • Leverage AI tooling daily to improve personal and team productivity • Stay hands-on in the codebase, writing production-grade code and setting standards for quality, reliability, and speed • Deliver AI-driven systems, tools, automations, and core Growth infrastructure serving millions of users globally

🎯 Requirements

• Experience leading engineering teams and delivering high-quality results in a collaborative environment • Strong people leadership skills, including coaching, clarity, and empowerment • Solid technical foundation, especially on the backend • Ability to engage in design discussions and code reviews • Strong individual contributor background with production-grade coding experience • High proficiency in modern AI-driven development and daily use of AI tooling • Familiarity with one or more modern programming languages, such as TypeScript, Rust, Go, or Python • Product mindset focused on user impact and key metrics • Clear communication and organizational skills • Experience working in distributed, remote-first teams • Applicants may be required to complete job-related skills or work-style assessments • Professional experience designing, building, or operating backend systems in production • Experience directly managing and developing software engineers • Experience partnering with Product and Design to define scope, prioritize work, and deliver product outcomes
