📋 Description

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate and qualify new or existing international and domestic suppliers • Serve as the Supplier Quality Engineer on an Integrated Supplier Team • Ensure delivered product conforms to requirements • Perform Early Supplier Engagements and First Article Inspections in accordance with AS9102 • Conduct complex investigations, Supplier Corrective Action Requests, and supplier audits • Apply structured, data-driven methodologies and statistical tools to improve supplier performance, reduce variation, and prevent defects • Assess supplier manufacturing processes, quality systems, and technical capability to meet missile production requirements • Apply advanced quality engineering principles throughout the supplier lifecycle • Conduct supplier risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to prevent quality escapes and supply disruptions • Develop supplier quality plans, process controls, and inspection strategies

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant quality experience • Graduate Degree and minimum 4 years of prior related quality experience • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related quality experience • Ability to obtain a US Secret security clearance • Experience supporting missile systems or defense aerospace programs • Experience managing quality performance for strategic, high-risk, or highly technical suppliers • Strong knowledge of aerospace quality standards including AS9100, AS9102, and AS9145 • Excellent technical writing, communication, and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment • Six Sigma Certification • Previous MRB experience • Willingness to travel approximately 50% domestically and internationally
