📋 Description

• Build and operate backend services and batch pipelines that classify and extract data from high-volume document sets using AWS Bedrock • Own the end-to-end pipeline, including S3 ingestion, multi-format parsing, LLM and rules-based classification, OCR fallback, and tooling for accuracy, cost, and throughput • Build an AI unstructured-data document scanning pipeline • Process unstructured healthcare provider and health insurance data files across many document formats • Extract key data elements for business logic and data validation • Convert unstructured document scanning results into usable structured business data

🎯 Requirements

• Active Public Trust security clearance • Bachelor's degree or higher • 5+ years of experience developing RESTful services and event-driven backends in AWS • Hands-on experience with AWS Bedrock or comparable LLM platforms, including prompt engineering, structured output, model selection, and token/cost management • Production experience with AWS S3, Lambda, Fargate or Batch, ECR, IAM, KMS, and CloudWatch • Strong Python, including concurrent processing for high-throughput batch workloads • Experience processing PDF, DOCX, and email formats • OCR experience using Textract, Tesseract, and/or similar tools • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, such as Postgres and DynamoDB, and Redis caching • Docker image builds and CI/CD using Git, Jenkins, and/or GitHub Actions • Unit testing and code coverage using pytest or equivalent • Hands-on agile development experience and familiarity with JIRA • Strong communication skills and ability to present ideas to varied audiences • Ability to provide technical assistance and end-user troubleshooting • Ability to multitask across multiple projects and business and technical stakeholders
