📋 Description

• Lead customer presentations and equipment demonstrations on-site or virtually • Work closely with sales to develop and nurture customer relationships • Execute strategic and tactical objectives • Contribute to proposal creation and tailored solution presentations • Attend on-site customer meetings as required • Provide technical expertise and solution guidance • Align client needs with proposed architectures • Provide architect-level oversight on large, complex projects • Ensure best practices in design, implementation, and integration • Maintain technical leadership throughout all phases of project delivery • Deliver architect-level technical support during project startup and, when necessary, after implementation • Ensure seamless transitions and ongoing client satisfaction • Identify, position, and promote opportunities for MGT’s MSP solutions, including Monitoring, Element Management, SIEM/SOC, and Managed VoIP/Cloud VoIP

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience • Five (5) or more years of hands-on experience in an applicable technology field • Two (2) or more years of pre-sales engineering experience • Strong knowledge of routing and switching • Knowledge of L2 edge switches, L3 routers, VPN technology, and optical network devices • Knowledge of Layer 4-7 application switches, firewalls (NG Firewalls), load balancers, IDPs, and cybersecurity practices • Knowledge of WLAN technologies (Controller and Cloud managed) • Experience with HPE, Juniper/Aruba, Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Arista, and F5 products • Vendor certifications preferred • Knowledge of the OSI network model, Ethernet, and TCP/IP networking • Proven ability to design and implement large-scale solutions, including budgetary and detailed cost estimating • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to translate customer requirements into bill of materials (BOM) and system design • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and adapt to new technologies • Excellent customer presentation skills • Willingness to pursue ongoing learning and professional growth • Willingness to travel to customer locations as required
