📋 Description

• Guide customers and users in designing and building reliable, scalable systems using MongoDB’s data platform • Work closely with sales executives to solve customer business problems, win deals, and drive business growth • Serve as a trusted advisor to startup and enterprise IT customers • Design scalable and performant applications, systems, and infrastructure leveraging MongoDB • Advise customers on architecture patterns, optimization strategies, and MongoDB’s business value • Collaborate with sales on account planning, opportunity prioritization and qualification, pipeline generation, technical discovery, demos, proof of value, presentations, sizing, and documentation • Generate demand through technical initiatives, trade shows, and account-based marketing events • Foster customer relationships, build champions, and ensure customer success and satisfaction • Improve MongoDB solutions and processes by relaying field feedback to the product team • Mentor other Solutions Consulting team members • Engage in ongoing product and professional development training

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years experience with modern scripting languages (e.g. Python, Node.js, SQL) and/or popular programming languages (e.g. C/C++, Java, C#) in a professional capacity • Experience designing scalable and highly available distributed systems in the cloud and on-prem • Demonstrated ability to review complex application architectures and provide technology guidance • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills • Ability to strategize with sales teams and develop multi-threaded account strategies • Ability to travel up to 25% • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience • Ideally 8 to 11 years of related experience in a customer-facing role, with 5 to 7 years of pre-sales experience with enterprise software • Experience selling databases and/or deploying applications with major cloud providers • Experience with database programming and data models • Experience in data engineering or AI/ML projects • Experience transforming legacy systems into modern technology stacks • Understanding of MEDDPICC or Command of the Message • MongoDB Certification (may have) • Cloud Provider Certification (may have)
