📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and deploy web-based applications and services • Build and maintain front-end and back-end software components • Develop and maintain APIs and integrations with client and third-party systems • Participate in application architecture and technical design discussions • Write unit and integration tests and maintain code quality • Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, clarify, and refine business requirements • Provide estimates and status updates on assigned work • Write clean, maintainable, and documented code • Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices • Follow secure coding practices and protect sensitive client, financial, and personal data • Support cloud-hosted applications, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes • Coordinate with partner and contract developers on shared projects • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements • Assist with AI and automation initiatives • Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing • Track and submit time according to Mpathic and client billing requirements • Perform other related duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience • 5–10 years of professional software development experience • Experience developing full-stack web applications in a production environment • Strong proficiency in at least one modern back-end technology: .NET/C#, Node.js, Java, or Python • Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js • Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs • Experience with SQL and relational database design • Proficiency with Git or similar source control • Experience working in Agile or Scrum development environments • Understanding of application security fundamentals, including authentication, authorization, and data protection • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including with non-technical audiences • Reliable high-speed internet and a secure, distraction-free remote workspace • Must be at least 18 years of age and reside in the United States • Must provide proof of eligibility to legally work in the United States • Must be willing and able to clear all required background checks • Preferred: experience with Microsoft Azure or AWS cloud services • Preferred: experience with fintech, payments, education technology, or government-funded programs • Preferred: experience with AI, machine learning, or LLM integrations • Preferred: experience building automation workflows and system integrations • Preferred: experience with Docker • Preferred: knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines • Preferred: familiarity with PCI, SOC 2, HIPAA, or FERPA • Preferred: experience in startup, consulting, or fast-growth environments
