📋 Description

• Support systems development and modernization initiatives in Federal Government environments across multiple agencies • Lead the design, development, and modernization of enterprise applications using .NET Core/Framework and Java/Spring Boot • Design application architecture, integration patterns, and reusable frameworks aligned with Federal security and compliance requirements • Provide thought leadership for product development and implementation • Provide last-mile engineering support for product implementation and customization • Demonstrate solutions to clients • Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions • Provide technical direction to development teams and ensure coding standards and best practices • Oversee application integrations, performance tuning, and data security implementation • Support migration of legacy applications to modern cloud-native architectures • Participate in Agile ceremonies and continuous integration and deployment activities • Generate code with AI and manage AI agents • Use AI-empowered development tools including GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, and other models

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline • 10+ years of software development experience, including 3+ years in a technical or solution architecture role • Proficient at vibe coding • Hands-on experience with C#, .NET Core/Framework, Java, and Spring Boot • Front-end development experience with Angular, React, or similar frameworks, plus HTML, CSS, and TypeScript • Proficiency in RESTful API development and microservices-based architectures • Experience with Azure or AWS cloud services and Docker/Kubernetes containerization • Strong database development experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices • US citizenship required • Must be eligible for a Secret clearance • Preferred: experience with Oracle ERP • Preferred: experience in a Federal IT consulting environment • Preferred: familiarity with SOA, API gateways, and message brokers such as Kafka and RabbitMQ • Preferred: experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevSecOps practices • Preferred: cloud certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect or AWS Solutions Architect • Preferred: knowledge of FISMA, NIST, and FedRAMP security compliance frameworks
