📋 Description

• Keep hardware systems, associated operating systems, and connectivity capabilities fully operational and integrated into the IT environment • Monitor, analyze, and plan upgrades to ensure adequate capacity and availability • Provide technical leadership and support for computing systems and systems integration • Conduct, analyze, recommend, and present performance and capacity analyses • Maintain broad working knowledge of server and distributed systems • Diagnose problems and coordinate solutions with vendors and manufacturers • Respond promptly to customer needs and manage issues through closure • Support application teams with project and support activities • Communicate with customers, project teams, and IS team members • Determine strategies for system-to-network connectivity and interfacing • Review technology projects, analyze business requirements, recommend system changes, write technical specifications, and implement changes • Identify and implement technology best-practice standards • Develop project plans, scopes, effort projections, schedules, and final plans with project managers • Establish and enforce local-area-network standards, policies, and procedures • Participate in technology planning • Integrate vendor, manufacturer, and technical expertise into the organization • Mentor and act as a resource for immediate and application teams • Promote collaborative IS team efforts and adapt to changing priorities • Contribute to the IS Knowledge Repository • Provide required on-call support

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in core discipline • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field preferred • 5+ years of experience in core discipline in the healthcare industry preferred • Providing on-call support is required • Successful completion of a criminal-history background check if hired • Authorization and disclosure form for the background check
