📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain backend services, APIs, and internal tools using Node.js, TypeScript, MongoDB, or comparable technologies • Contribute to strategic product features and shared platform components • Guide architectural decisions across application, infrastructure, DevOps, security, and developer productivity domains • Participate in code reviews, design discussions, release planning, and production support • Improve deployment workflows, CI/CD, infrastructure automation, observability, and production operations • Work within Azure-based environments, including App Services, Function Apps, Storage, Key Vault, Application Insights, Front Door, networking, and related cloud infrastructure • Support secure, reliable, and compliant software delivery practices for a fintech or financial services environment • Adopt and mature AI-enabled engineering tools and workflows • Improve quality, speed, documentation, code review, and delivery through responsible AI-assisted development • Support AI-enabled product capabilities, workflow automation, internal productivity tools, and emerging development practices • Mentor engineers and raise the overall engineering maturity of the team • Promote environmental, social, economic, and racial justice • Stay informed of applicable regulatory requirements and complete mandatory compliance and IT training • Understand and follow Bank policies, procedures, and regulations • Question suspicious activity and collaborate to help prevent fraudulent activity

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, including hands-on DevOps, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, deployment automation, and production operations • 3+ years of experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and MongoDB, or comparable technologies • Understanding of backend architecture, API design, distributed systems, and production-grade software development • Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, CodeRabbit, Claude, GitHub Copilot, or similar • Ability to solve complex technical problems with sound judgment and focus on scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to product, engineering, security, compliance, and leadership stakeholders • Understanding of, or ability to quickly learn, regulatory, security, privacy, and operational expectations in banking and fintech • Commitment to environmental, social, economic, and racial justice • Commitment to being a dependable team player • Must be a non-smoker or affirm commitment to cessation within 90 days of offer acceptance • Must be authorized to work in the United States
