📋 Description

• Lead the GSI, MSSP, and SP Channel Solutions Consultant team as technical leader • Act as second-line manager to the Solutions Consulting team supporting Service Providers • Work with GSI and SP Channel Business Manager leaders and build partner relationships • Guide partners in identifying opportunities and positioning Palo Alto Networks solutions • Define innovative technical solutions securing customers’ business imperatives and maximizing partner investment value • Champion on-premises, cloud, and security operations services • Provide feedback to Product Management on feature requests and product improvements • Recruit and hire Channel Solutions Consultants • Train, mentor, review, and engage team members • Define and monitor technical activation plans and individual development plans • Collaborate with Professional Services, Customer Success, Specialist, pre-sales, and post-sales teams • Provide technical leadership in partner interactions and share security trends and methodologies • Drive Palo Alto Networks Platformization efforts across the full portfolio • Coordinate resources with the Domain Specialist Manager • Act as an escalation point for issues • Build trusted-advisor relationships with key partner stakeholders • Present as a subject-matter expert and coach teams • Position Palo Alto Networks products against competitor offerings • Work with Product Management, Technical Marketing, and R&D on customer requirements and product features • Travel 50% within the region • Develop technical strategies with the Channel Business Manager to accelerate partner growth • Identify priority verticals, markets, use cases, and solutions and devise regional engagement strategies

🎯 Requirements

• 3 years of second-line managerial experience at Senior Manager or Director level required; 5 years preferred • Experience as a pre-sales Systems Engineer Manager • Experience as a Senior Systems Engineer or Specialist • Experience working with resellers, distributors, or MSSPs • Knowledge of security product market trends, company roadmap, technology development efforts, and competitor offerings • Experience selling, designing, implementing, or managing Network Security, SASE, SaaS, CNAPP, and/or SOC Transformation technologies • Experience partnering with Customer Support functions for successful solution implementation and adoption • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills • Quota-driven attitude focused on being a trusted advisor to partners • Proficient in English • Must be able to travel 50% within the region • Palo Alto Networks will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position
