📋 Description

• Design and build AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform and GitLab CI/CD pipelines • Guide ADTs on cloud solution patterns, deployment strategies, and architecture decisions • Own automation end-to-end, from IaC authorship to pipeline design and production operations • Participate in an on-call rotation and contribute to observability and monitoring practices • Provide technical support and guidance to AWS and managed service users • Design, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available AWS infrastructure • Monitor AWS environments and troubleshoot and resolve performance, availability, and operational incidents • Collaborate with development, security, infrastructure, data engineering, and analytics teams • Maintain configuration documentation, diagrams, and SOPs for all environments • Perform backups, scheduled upgrades, and maintenance during maintenance windows • Monitor security vulnerabilities and perform ad hoc upgrades and maintenance • Support audit activities by providing logs, reports, and system configurations • Manage and support AWS IAM roles, policies, permissions, and access controls

🎯 Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship required • Ability to obtain and maintain the required Public Trust level clearance • Willingness to undergo a pre-employment credit check as required by the Customer • Bachelor’s Degree and 8 years of experience; Master’s Degree and 6 years of experience; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 12 years of experience • Deep, hands-on knowledge of AWS architecture, networking, security, serverless/microservice architectures, and containerization • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), specifically advanced Terraform skills • Proven experience designing and maintaining GitLab CI/CD pipelines, including reusable/shared components for enterprise-scale delivery • Hands-on experience monitoring, analyzing, and troubleshooting SaaS application logs • Strong Python and Bash scripting skills; Ansible experience is a plus • Proficiency in configuration management, observability, reliability, and disaster recovery practices • Proficiency in cloud engineering processes using automation tooling such as Terraform, Python, and GitLab CI for AWS workloads • Strong Git proficiency, including branching/release strategies such as GitFlow • Preferred: Runners and IaC tools such as CloudFormation • Preferred: PowerShell, Bash, JavaScript/Node.js, or other scripting languages • Preferred: Incident management, root cause analysis, and resolving high-priority incidents in large, multi-tenant environments • Preferred: Experience working in an Agile environment
