📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise software, scalable APIs/microservices, and secure integrations with third-party and AI/LLM provider APIs • Lead system architecture, participate in design and code reviews, and apply containerization, infrastructure-as-code, observability, and secure secrets management • Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows using Azure DevOps and Agile best practices • Design, implement, and maintain relational databases; optimize performance, indexing, and query tuning • Manage data pipelines, ETL processes, data warehouse architecture, and GitHub/GitLab workflows • Ensure database and data security, backup/disaster recovery, and data governance and compliance including PII/HIPAA • Prepare and curate datasets for AI/ML and administer vector/embeddings stores used for RAG • Design, build, deploy, and maintain RPA solutions; identify automation opportunities and integrate bots with APIs and enterprise systems • Combine RPA with AI/LLM capabilities for intelligent document processing, classification, and summarization • Design, prototype, and deploy LLM and agentic solutions including RAG, embeddings, semantic search, and multi-step agents • Evaluate model quality, latency, and cost trade-offs • Apply responsible AI practices including prompt/response logging, human-in-the-loop review, hallucination mitigation, and bias/accuracy monitoring • Collaborate with data, compliance, and business teams to move use cases from proof of concept to production • Support Peraton's SafeGuard Services team in detecting, preventing, deterring, reducing, and referring fraud, waste, and abuse in Medicare/Medicaid healthcare programs

🎯 Requirements

• 2 years with BS/BA; 0 years with MS/MA; 6 years with a HS Diploma/equivalent • Application development experience • Ability to work flexible hours • Strong proficiency in C#/.NET, Visual Studio, and the .NET Framework • Experience with ASP.NET MVC and OOP principles • Proficiency writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL/PostgreSQL • Experience with Python for automation and data tasks • Familiarity with RPA platforms (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or MS Power Automate) and automation workflow design • Experience designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating third-party and AI/LLM provider APIs • Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern front-end frameworks • Experience with Git and collaborative GitHub/GitLab workflows • Exposure to Azure OpenAI/OpenAI/Anthropic APIs, prompt engineering, or embedding-based search • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration abilities • US citizenship required • Desired: microservices architecture, event-driven design patterns, and TDD • Desired: MLOps/LLMOps, model evaluation, prompt and version management, guardrails, cost/latency optimization, and Python data stack • Desired: healthcare industry and HIPAA knowledge • Desired: Azure/AWS and native AI/ML services experience
