📋 Description

• Define and document API specifications, endpoints, data models, and protocols including REST and GraphQL • Build and implement APIs using Java and Python • Integrate APIs with internal and external systems, applications, and third-party services • Write unit, integration, and end-to-end API tests; debug and resolve issues • Create and maintain documentation for API consumers, including usage examples and best practices • Implement authentication, authorization, encryption, and other security practices • Monitor and optimize API performance, scalability, and reliability • Manage API versions and maintain backward compatibility • Collaborate with front-end and back-end developers, architects, QA engineers, and stakeholders • Provide ongoing support, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements based on user feedback

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, computer science, engineering, or a related technical discipline • 5 years of relevant experience • Degree may be substituted for 8 years of experience • Advanced Amazon Web Services (AWS) skills • Advanced Git skills • Advanced Java REST Web Service skills • Advanced Spring Boot skills • Advanced SQL skills • U.S. Citizenship • Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance • Preferred: Intermediate Docker, Helm, Kubernetes, Python, and Ruby skills
