📋 Description

• Support the launch and post-launch process of the React Native companion app • Act as a hands-on technical leader who ships • Own features end to end across a unified TypeScript stack • Review and debug code in an AI-first environment, ensuring accuracy and compliance • Ship full-stack features across accessible React UIs, type-safe APIs, and GraphQL over multiple data stores • Collaborate with web application, API, and design teams on web and mobile features • Evaluate architectural trade-offs and communicate engineering decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders • Own instrumentation, incident handling, and post-incident analysis • Improve team performance through code reviews, mentoring, and knowledge sharing • Improve testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and developer tooling • Support teams across the organization and work cross-functionally across multiple product lines • Launch the React Native companion app in the App Store and Google Play • Maintain shared logic and types between mobile and web platforms • Ensure accessibility and reliability standards • Establish patterns and reviews that improve mobile and full-stack engineering

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of full-stack production experience • Production experience with React, Node.js, JavaScript, SQL, TypeScript, and NoSQL • Experience with modern cloud-native development • Experience with modern CI/CD approaches • Experience running systems you build • Strong system-design instincts focused on reliability and scalability • Ability to review AI-generated code using Claude Code or Copilot • Experience setting technical direction and mentoring engineers • Experience working on collaborative, asynchronous, distributed teams • Experience building accessible web applications compliant with WCAG 2.1 AA • Native mobile experience with iOS or Android alongside React Native is desirable • Experience shipping mobile apps to the App Store and Google Play is desirable • Familiarity with oRPC/tRPC, Pulumi, and Better Auth is desirable • Experience in accessibility-critical or heavily regulated environments is desirable • Experience tuning data access across relational, NoSQL, and search systems is desirable • Legally authorized to work in the US; no sponsorship available
