📋 Description

• Architect, test, and maintain robust batch and stream ingestion pipelines handling high-volume HL7 v2 and FHIR messages • Establish secure, automated server-to-server connections with hospital EHRs and clinical networks using OAuth 2.0 asymmetric authentication • Implement schema evolution checks, automated error handling, deduplication, and real-time data transformation rules • Ensure data ingestion channels comply with PHM, HIPAA, SOC 2, and data privacy frameworks with complete auditability • Resolve network bottlenecks and optimize distributed queries across complex on-premise and hybrid cloud environments

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience • Extensive expertise in Epic modules: Ambulatory, Inpatient, and MyChart • Experience with FHIR, HL7 v2, Epic Interconnect, Chronicles, Clarity, and Caboodle • Experience designing enterprise SaaS microservices using ReactJS and Python APIs (FastAPI, Flask, Django) • Experience with containerized or serverless AWS services, including Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, and SNS • Ability to define requirements, design database interactions, translate complex workflows, and balance custom code against native Epic capabilities • Experience crafting unit and integration testing strategies using Pytest, Jest, and React Testing Library • Git version control experience • Technical architecture documentation experience • Ability to lead code reviews and troubleshoot cross-environment production issues • Ability to drive customer-facing communications and collaborate in distributed Agile teams • Preferred: Experience with Epic's App Orchard program, healthcare integration engines, clinical terminology and workflows, GenAI/ML solution design, GenAI and automation in SDLC, healthcare data pipelines, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, healthcare digital transformation, and NoSQL databases
