📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain automation and tooling supporting Rackspace's Azure managed services platform • Develop and maintain Python and PowerShell scripts, modules, and pipelines for provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and remediation • Build and support Infrastructure-as-Code deployments using ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform • Integrate Azure platform tooling with monitoring, ticketing, and CI/CD systems • Troubleshoot and resolve platform-level issues across Azure compute, networking, identity, and storage services • Contribute to platform reliability, security hardening, and cost-optimization initiatives • Document runbooks, architecture decisions, and operational procedures for internal teams • Stay current on Azure service updates and recommend platform improvements • Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Security teams to design scalable automation and maintain reliable Azure platform capabilities

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a platform engineering, DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or systems engineering role • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including compute, networking, storage, and identity/Entra ID • Proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, and tooling development • Proficiency in PowerShell, particularly for Azure and Windows Server administration/automation • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code using ARM, Bicep, or Terraform • Working knowledge of CI/CD tooling and version control, such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and Git • Experience troubleshooting production infrastructure issues under time pressure
