📋 Description

• Lead qualification, assessment, and selection of program-specific suppliers • Evaluate supplier capabilities, performance history, and flow-down requirements • Oversee independent assessments of supplier quality and technical performance • Implement and sustain APQP and statistical process control methodologies across the supply base • Partner with Programs, Operations, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, and Quality to drive supplier execution strategies and achieve SBU goals • Lead Root Cause Corrective Action activities for systemic or high-risk supplier issues • Represent Raytheon on corporate sourcing and performance teams • Translate corporate initiatives into supplier-level execution • Manage supplier technical and quality risks affecting cost, schedule, and performance across more than $10B in annual material sales • Develop, mentor, and grow a geographically and technologically diverse team • Serve as senior interface with supplier executive leadership, customers, and corporate stakeholders • Negotiate terms and manage divergent viewpoints when resolving performance gaps • Drive Supplier Assurance strategy and enhance supplier capability across production technologies • Implement Advanced Product Quality Planning across suppliers and ensure compliance with technical, contractual, and regulatory requirements • Ensure adequate capacity at suppliers and sub-tiers • Protect Raytheon production and reduce risk across programs and business • Measure success through timely delivery of quality-assured products, FAI, first-time FAI yield, supplier quality performance, escapes, and PPM

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience and minimum of fourteen (14) years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum of twelve (12) years’ experience • Relevant experience in supplier quality, manufacturing engineering, operations, or other engineering fields • 14 years of experience applying APQP, statistical process controls, RCCA, and other quality methodologies • Experience within aerospace and defense or similarly complex industries • Experience leading and mentoring technical teams • U.S. citizenship required • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance • Active and existing DoD Secret security clearance required after day 1 • Must reside and work from one of the 50 U.S. states, excluding U.S. territories • Ability to travel 75% of the time to supplier locations as needed
