📋 Description

• Deploy, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Active Directory and Domain Controller environments in hybrid or on-premise Windows environments • Maintain the integrity and security of AD forests, domains, and trusted environments • Harden AD/DC configurations according to DoD STIG compliance and industry best practices • Manage Group Policy Objects and enforce security policies • Implement monitoring, logging, and auditing for AD/DC performance and security • Apply RBAC, namespace isolation, and secure ingress/egress traffic configurations • Create AWS AMIs for Windows Servers using Packer, Ansible, and PowerShell • Operate within secure, air-gapped IL5 environments and implement compliance processes • Maintain security and availability of Windows and Linux systems through patch management, vulnerability assessments, and policy compliance • Automate recurring tasks using PowerShell, Ansible, Python, and Bash • Troubleshoot Windows file systems, network connectivity, performance, and authentication issues • Plan and execute upgrades, migrations, and installations for Windows and Linux systems • Collaborate with developers, system administrators, and cybersecurity professionals on systems integration and operational effectiveness • Develop technical documentation, including CI/CD pipeline configurations, workflow processes, and build instructions

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree with six years of experience • Security+ certification • Active Secret clearance • Strong knowledge of Active Directory architecture, replication, forests, and domains • Proficiency with Windows Server administration, roles, and features • Understanding of NIST or ISO security frameworks and their application in AD/DC environments • Experience integrating authentication and SSO solutions, including Keycloak, Active Directory, SAML, and RBAC • Proficiency with GitLab CI/CD and Git-based workflows • Experience in secure Impact Level 6 or similarly controlled environments and DoD or equivalent compliance frameworks • Experience with image scanning tools such as Anchore • Experience with static code analysis tools such as SonarQube • Experience with software signing tools such as Cosign • Hands-on experience with container hardening and vulnerability remediation • Strong scripting and automation skills • Proficiency with Terraform, Helm, or Ansible for Infrastructure as Code • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and stakeholder audiences • Experience collaborating in multidisciplinary Agile or DevSecOps teams
