📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications and services • Lead or support migration of applications from on-premises or legacy environments to AWS cloud • Analyze existing systems and define migration strategies, including rehosting, replatforming, refactoring, or modernization • Develop scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions using AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS, EKS, IAM, CloudWatch, and CloudFormation • Implement cloud-native and microservices-based architectures • Integrate AI models or AI-enabled services for intelligent automation, analytics, or decision-making • Collaborate with architects, engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions • Troubleshoot application, infrastructure, and integration issues across development, testing, and production environments • Optimize application performance, reliability, scalability, and security • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following engineering best practices • Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for deployment and release management • Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and technical planning sessions • Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, with minimum 12 years of experience, or 8 years of experience with master’s degree • Strong hands-on experience in Java development, including object-oriented design and enterprise application development • Proven experience with AWS cloud migration projects • Solid understanding of cloud architecture, deployment patterns, and AWS best practices • Experience working with REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems • Familiarity with AI models, machine learning concepts, or AI-powered application integration • Experience with version control, CI/CD tools, and agile development practices • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Selected candidate must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance • Preferred: Experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate, JPA, or Spring Cloud • Preferred: Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes • Preferred: Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform • Preferred: Experience with AI/ML platforms, model deployment, prompt engineering, or generative AI services • Preferred: Knowledge of cloud security, IAM, encryption, and compliance requirements • Preferred: Experience modernizing legacy monolithic applications into cloud-native architectures • Preferred: Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as CloudWatch, Splunk, or Datadog
