📋 Description

• Process complex, high-volume bi-weekly payrolls for assigned business units and manage off-cycle payroll items • Audit HRIS payroll records and coordinate corrections and discrepancies with HR Operations • Set up and process new hires, terminations, and leave of absence cases • Verify timesheets in VantagePoint • Prepare import files and run payroll reports using Excel • Process final wages, garnishment notices, state agency inquiries, bonus payrolls, manual checks, and tax adjustments • Prepare and submit state-mandated reports • Balance and reconcile tax remittances, 401(k) files, payroll records, and W-2 forms • Register state or local tax accounts and set up multi-state taxes • Provide payroll consultation and guidance to assigned business units • Prepare and post journal entries in Deltek VantagePoint • Support mergers of acquired business units into VantagePoint and compare VantagePoint/UKG data • Maintain HRIS and payroll data integrity and review employee data • Support year-end financials, 401(k), and workers’ compensation insurance audits • Report directly to the Payroll Director

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience with UKG Pro, required • Minimum 5 years of experience processing multi-state payroll • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field, preferred • Certified Payroll Professional, preferred • Current knowledge of relevant payroll laws and regulations • Expertise in multi-state taxation rules, local taxes, and state income tax reciprocal agreements • Proficiency in UKG Pro • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work well on a team • Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment • Detail orientation and ability to meet deadlines under pressure • Ability to work remotely on Pacific Standard Time
