📋 Description

• Lead the design, architecture, and development of high-performance, scalable software systems • Write, test, and maintain high-quality code • Contribute to architectural decisions focused on scalability, performance, and maintainability • Uphold coding standards and conduct code reviews • Analyze and resolve complex technical issues • Optimize code and improve system performance • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions • Drive improvements in code quality, development processes, and team efficiency • Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and API specifications • Communicate technical decisions and strategies to technical and non-technical stakeholders • Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends • Mentor junior engineers • Deliver backend services and APIs on schedule • Support continuous delivery, monitoring, and trunk-based development

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience • Strong background in software design and architecture • Experience with TypeScript and Node • Experience with AWS, PostgreSQL, and SQL • Experience using AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Copilot, or Cursor • Knowledge of software architecture patterns, including microservices, distributed systems, hexagonal architecture, and domain-driven design • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills • Ability to work an 8 to 5 EST schedule • Legal right to work in the United States after hiring • Must be available during scheduled working hours • Must have a quiet, professional, distraction-free work environment • Must have reliable high-speed internet access
