📋 Description

• Develop fullstack software, primarily with React and Java, converting customer requirements and product gaps into shipped solutions • Write robust tests, fix bugs, and ensure code security • Work across multiple codebases and products, including escalated issues • Partner with customers and field teams to understand environments, goals, and constraints • Translate ambiguous requirements into clear technical strategies • Carry field learnings into product and engineering planning and advocate for customer needs • Support occasional pre-sales scoping • Design and deliver integrations connecting SentinelOne products to customer environments • Collaborate with customer engineers on solutions and knowledge transfer • Produce runbooks, integration documentation, and executive-level technical communications • Contribute fixes and improvements to the core platform • Partner with platform teams to review and maintain upstream contributions • Build tooling that codifies repeatable patterns and scales the Forward Deploy function • Architect end-to-end solutions for complex problems spanning multiple codebases and teams • Document trade-offs and implementation details and review technical specifications • Conduct code reviews focused on quality, security, and efficiency • Respond to ad-hoc customer and internal escalations without a regular on-call rotation • Assist colleagues, share constructive feedback, and contribute to weekly syncs and daily Slack standups

🎯 Requirements

• Solid computer science background with 5+ years engineering experience including both backend and frontend • Proven expertise designing and operating distributed systems or data-intensive services • Track record of leading substantial pieces of work end-to-end, under ambiguity, with multiple stakeholders • Experience working directly with customers or senior stakeholders to shape technical solutions • Deep proficiency in at least one production language, with Java strongly preferred and 5+ years noted • Working comfort in at least one additional programming language • Ability to learn new tools and codebases as work demands • Experience with modern Java, React, TypeScript, Kafka, Redis, GraphQL, Node.js, and SentinelOne’s platform • Experience in the cybersecurity domain strongly preferred, including SIEM, EDR/XDR, log pipelines, detection engineering, or threat hunting • Ability to translate between engineers and non-engineers without losing precision • Clear written communication across tickets, design documents, customer runbooks, and executive briefings
