📋 Description

• Provide technical leadership across the Brand platform, leading strategic, complex, and business-critical initiatives. • Define and evolve architecture for complex, cross-team product and platform initiatives. • Lead technical strategy, decomposition, and execution of critical projects from discovery through delivery. • Partner with product, design, data, and platform teams to align technical decisions with customer, platform-health, and business outcomes. • Establish scalable patterns, APIs, and system boundaries that improve reliability and maintainability. • Identify and reduce technical risks, dependencies, and operational complexity. • Raise the engineering bar through design reviews, code reviews, technical coaching, and mentorship. • Maintain platform health through observability, quality practices, operational readiness, and cross-team execution. • Translate ambiguous business needs into technical direction, milestones, and durable solutions. • Lead adoption of AI-native engineering practices using coding agents and AI-assisted tools. • Improve repository context, technical specifications, development environments, CI pipelines, test strategies, and feedback loops for agent-assisted delivery. • Direct multiple streams of agent-assisted work, decompose initiatives, critically review outputs, and remain accountable for production results. • Establish evaluation and validation mechanisms for AI-assisted workflows, including automated checks, human review, security controls, observability, and production feedback. • Use AI and automation to reduce engineering toil, improve developer experience, increase test coverage, and accelerate reliable customer outcomes. • Scale AI-native practices through architecture guidance, reusable patterns, documentation, mentoring, and hands-on coaching.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including significant experience leading the architecture and delivery of complex, distributed systems. • Demonstrated success operating as a Staff Engineer, Principal Engineer, or equivalent senior technical leader across multiple teams or domains. • Strong systems-design skills, including pragmatic architectural tradeoffs across performance, reliability, security, scalability, and developer experience. • Experience leading high-impact initiatives requiring coordination across engineering, product, design, data, and platform partners. • Track record of turning ambiguous product and business problems into clear technical strategies and executable plans. • Strong communication skills and ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders without direct authority. • Ability to mentor engineers and grow technical leadership across teams. • Commitment to engineering excellence, quality, operational ownership, observability, and continuous improvement. • Experience using AI-assisted development tools or coding agents in a real engineering workflow. • Experience shaping software-development processes for effective collaboration between engineers and AI agents. • Experience improving engineering leverage through automation, developer tooling, platform capabilities, or workflow redesign. • Understanding of risks of AI-assisted delivery, including insecure output, data exposure, insufficient test coverage, nondeterministic behavior, and unclear ownership. • Ability to measure engineering-practice outcomes such as cycle time, quality, reliability, maintainability, developer experience, or customer impact. • Mindset focused on seizing opportunities and moving with urgency. • Dedication to prioritization and operational excellence. • Adaptability to a dynamic, fast-moving environment. • Growth mindset and openness to feedback. • Authorization to work in the U.S.; LTK is not offering new sponsorship opportunities for persons requiring employment visas such as H-1B.
