âą Taking the lead on designing, developing and maintaining SmithRx frontend features with a strong depth of knowledge in JavaScript, React, and GraphQL while leveraging CI/CD to iterate quickly âą Build and maintain design libraries within SmithRx in collaboration with UX designers and other FE engineers. âą Collaborate with stakeholders and technical leads to understand functional and technical feasibility of UI/UX designs to produce high-quality, performant, decoupled, and scalable code âą Continually apply software development best practices, design patterns, tools and technologies âą Troubleshoot production issues by performing triages for issues that arise and performing root cause analysis to prevent future occurrence of issues. âą Coach/mentor junior team members in their assigned engineering projects by performing design and code reviews âą Work with senior leadership to turn technical vision into a tangible roadmap âą Be the cornerstone of a collaborative learning culture through knowledge sharing, mentorship, code reviews, and exploration of new frameworks and paradigms
âą BS or advanced degree in computer science âą 8+ years of software development experience working on web applications âą Expertise in JavaScript, React, GraphQL, HTML, CSS and various front-end frameworks âą Proven experience in client-side software design, implementing reusable components, and ability to work on features independently âą Successful history of leveraging AI for development âą Experience using Git in a professional environment âą Experience in writing automated tests using testing frameworks such as Cypress or Selenium âą Some industry experience with CI/CD pipeline, Docker, and a common cloud service provider âą Understanding of typical web application, SOA and micro services patterns a plus âą Experience at a high-growth startup a plus
