📋 Description

• Assist and support discovery, development, and publication of Solari data, reports, and dashboards • Create actionable business insights to answer business questions, drive decisions, and improve operations • Drive data analytics design, architecture, and modeling • Coordinate with business stakeholders to collect and translate specifications and requirements • Provide mentorship to junior BI developers • Write T-SQL queries and stored procedures • Debug and troubleshoot queries, stored procedures, and data integration solutions • Develop SSIS packages for ETL into the data warehouse • Optimize query performance through database refactoring and table normalization • Develop analytic reports and dashboards from conception through publication • Identify appropriate data sources, relationships, and logic for reliable reports • Update BI reports and create new key performance metrics • Provide developer support for data requests • Troubleshoot performance at database-query and report-interface levels • Create end-user documentation for troubleshooting and auditing • Participate in the on-call rotation as required • Co-lead the BI team in identifying data and reporting needs • Assist in writing business requirement documents • Work on large, complex, cross-functional projects with technical staff, end users, and senior management • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in the field • Practical workplace coding experience in SQL (T-SQL) • Practical workplace coding experience with BI front-end reporting tools (Cognos, Power BI, Tableau) • Technical skills required: Microsoft SQL Server 2016 or later, Cognos Analytics, Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams), Tableau Desktop/Server, JIRA, Microsoft Visual Studio • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field is preferred • Certifications with MCSA, MTA are preferred • Must physically reside in AZ, CO, FL, IL, MA, MN, OH, OK, OR, PA, TX, VA, or WA • Stable and secure private home internet with minimum 50Mbps download, 5Mbps upload, and average jitter less than 20% of latency
