📋 Description

• Serve as the technical subject matter expert for payroll and timekeeping systems • Lead payroll system design, configuration, maintenance, and testing • Support earnings, deductions, pay components, interfaces, and compensation-program functionality • Lead payroll and timekeeping system upgrades, implementations, integrations, and new functionality • Perform requirements analysis, testing, validation, documentation, issue resolution, and deployment support • Design, develop, and maintain complex payroll and workforce reports • Provide operational support and business continuity for biweekly payroll operations • Resolve payroll issues, validate calculations, audit payroll results, and assist with tax, quarterly, year-end, W-2, and regulatory reporting • Monitor system performance and integrity through auditing, reconciliation, validation, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis • Improve internal controls, efficiency, automation, workflows, procedures, and processes • Partner with Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, and operational leaders on payroll initiatives • Analyze payroll, workforce, and timekeeping data and provide recommendations to leaders • Develop and deliver training, job aids, and educational resources • Support the Payroll & Timekeeping Manager with planning, strategic initiatives, projects, and operational continuity

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, Information Systems, or related field required; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree • Five (5) years of progressive payroll experience with demonstrated involvement in analytical and technical functions • Experience with payroll processing support, reporting, system configuration support, and compliance activities • Experience working with payroll and timekeeping systems in an analytical or systems-support capacity • Critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision • Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, organization, prioritization, and multitasking skills • Ability to interpret data and identify trends or inconsistencies • Ability to work independently and collaboratively • Excellent communication and customer service skills • Intermediate to advanced computer applications and MS Office ability • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, data analysis tools, and reporting functions • Ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
