📋 Description

• Oversee end-to-end payroll operations for US, India, and UK employees • Manage and develop an offshore payroll team through coaching, quality oversight, and performance expectations • Own payroll systems and integrations with HRIS, time and attendance, benefits, and GL/accounting systems • Lead or support payroll system implementations, migrations, and upgrades, including Workday Payroll rollouts • Partner with PeopleOps and Benefits on employee lifecycle events • Own payroll accounting, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and close-cycle support • Support financial statement, statutory, and 401(k) audits • Maintain internal controls and protect sensitive employee and compensation data • Monitor US federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations and ensure accurate filings and remittances • Streamline and automate payroll processes and workflows • Escalate and resolve complex payroll discrepancies cross-functionally

🎯 Requirements

• Experience managing payroll operations across multiple countries, with direct experience in US, India, and UK payroll required • Experience working with and managing an offshore team • Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now and ADP Celergo required • Experience with Workday Payroll is a plus • Experience managing inbound and outbound system integrations between payroll and HR/finance systems • Prior experience with payroll system implementations, ideally including Workday • Strong understanding of payroll accounting principles, including journal entries, reconciliations, and close processes • Solid working knowledge of US payroll tax requirements and compliance • Experience supporting financial statement audits, statutory audits, and 401(k) audits • Proven people management experience developing high-performing teams • Excellent communication and cross-functional partnership skills • Systems- and process-oriented mindset focused on scalability, accuracy, and efficiency • High integrity and discretion when handling confidential employee data • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in payroll processing and reporting • Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States • Must indicate whether future US work sponsorship will be required
