📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain Cloud platforms and APIs powering AI-enabled mobile, XR, web, and desktop applications • Implement secure, reliable, high-performance Cloud-hosted APIs for Stryker medical device applications • Implement scalable Cloud-hosted data-processing and data-ingestion pipelines for images, videos, STL files, CT scans, and other large data objects • Invoke AI models to summarize and analyze clinical and operational data • Contribute to Web application front-end implementation • Perform code reviews for coding standards, architectural guidelines, and best practices • Implement automated unit tests and integration testing • Build proof of concepts to benchmark and validate backend Cloud solution designs • Collaborate with Product Owners, QA testers, mobile/XR/web/desktop engineers, product security, regulatory, and other stakeholders • Translate functional requirements into secure, reliable, scalable backend components • Contribute to architecture, documentation, quality processes, and reliable data pipelines in a regulated environment

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline • 2+ years of professional software development experience • Experience writing maintainable and testable code using modern programming languages such as C#, Python, or Java • Application of established design principles and patterns • Experience developing backend services and APIs hosted in the Cloud using PaaS, SaaS, and IaaS • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills across distributed systems • Experience with Single Page Application frameworks such as React or Angular • Experience implementing and working with Docker containers • Familiarity with security considerations and protocols such as OAuth and SSL/TLS • Exposure to regulated environments or medical device software
