📋 Description

• Design and own scalable, maintainable test automation frameworks for web, Android, and Windows products • Partner with software teams to build and evolve the organization’s end-to-end testing stack • Define and champion an agentic AI approach to quality, including patterns, guardrails, and best practices • Deliver AI-assisted test design, automated test generation, and code review solutions • Understand team needs and deliver solutions using existing tools or new agentic AI capabilities • Create prototypes and reference implementations for new frameworks and workflows • Translate program and product requirements into automation designs and actionable quality approaches • Collaborate with development and platform engineering to build in automation, coverage, and quality from day one • Contribute to quality standards, metrics, and AI usage guidelines • Provide technical support and guidance across Agile teams and programs • Track emerging tools and industry trends and turn them into practical quality engineering improvements • Communicate technical designs, system flows, and decisions across teams • Report to the Quality Engineering Manager as an individual contributor

🎯 Requirements

• Active Secret security clearance required; Interim accepted under contract requirements • U.S. Citizenship required • 5+ years of experience in QA or Test Engineering, including hands-on ownership of test system design • 1–2+ years of practical, hands-on experience using agentic AI coding tools such as Claude Code or similar • Significant hands-on contribution to building or substantially rearchitecting a test automation framework • Hands-on experience across unit, integration, API, end-to-end, linting, and static analysis testing • Experience automating tests across more than one platform: web, mobile, and/or desktop • Strong development skills in Java and/or TypeScript/JavaScript • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or closely related field, required by contract • Practical experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines; GitLab CI preferred • Solid understanding of software design patterns and foundational architectural principles • Demonstrated ability to influence technical direction and drive adoption across engineering teams • Familiarity with Jira, Jama, Rally, or similar requirements and issue management tools • Clear, effective written, verbal, and cross-team communication skills • Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, collaborative environment • Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screening required as a condition of hire • Travel as needed
