📋 Description

• Design and implement scalable AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code • Build CI/CD pipelines with comprehensive testing and automated deployment • Develop monitoring and alerting systems using CloudWatch, Splunk, and modern observability tools • Automate operational processes to reduce manual work and human error • Maintain high availability and performance of large-scale cloud platforms • Implement proactive monitoring for system health, performance, metrics, and capacity planning • Execute patching cycles and infrastructure maintenance with minimal downtime • Design disaster recovery and business continuity solutions • Collaborate with InfoSec on automated vulnerability remediation workflows • Build security-first infrastructure with access controls and audit trails • Develop compliance monitoring and reporting automation • Write maintainable Python and other modern-language code • Create unit and integration tests for infrastructure code • Build internal tools and dashboards • Evaluate emerging technologies, including AI/ML tools, for operational value • Contribute to architecture decisions and technical roadmap planning • Participate in on-call rotation and occasional off-hours work during critical releases and maintenance windows • Collaborate with development, security, and business stakeholder teams

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related technical field required • 3+ years of professional experience managing large-scale, highly available cloud platforms • 3+ years of hands-on Python development focused on automation and infrastructure • 2+ years of deep experience with AWS core services, including EC2, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, Systems Manager, and API Gateway • Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform • Must be authorized to work in the US without requiring employer sponsorship currently or in the future • Advanced Python skills and proficiency in at least one other language, such as Go, JavaScript, or Java • Deep understanding of AWS services, networking, security, and cost optimization • Expert-level experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, CodePipeline, or GitHub Actions • Hands-on experience with logging, metrics, and tracing solutions • Working knowledge of Docker and container orchestration • Experience with modern web frameworks and APIs, including React.js and RESTful services • Database management experience with relational and NoSQL databases • Version control and collaborative development practices using Git and code reviews • Experience with testing frameworks and quality assurance automation • Basic understanding of machine learning concepts and AI tooling integration • Availability for occasional off-hours work during critical releases and maintenance windows • Participation in an on-call rotation • Preferred: AWS certifications, Kubernetes or ECS, chaos engineering, AI/ML services, and internal developer tools/platforms
