📋 Description

• Maintain core infrastructure by writing software to automate application deployment, configure infrastructure, and manage critical services such as databases • Triage and fix operational issues in Linux environments as an on-call engineer • Participate in post-mortems and implement improvements to prevent recurring issues • Design, implement, and deploy internal tools and services to accelerate Engineering productivity and enable direct ownership of operations • Help manage server hardware in physical data centers, including occasional travel to Bay Area or New Jersey data centers for onsite projects • Participate in key decisions regarding the evolution of infrastructure • Build and maintain infrastructure and core services across data centers and cloud environments • Automate infrastructure operations, testing, observability, and development processes

🎯 Requirements

• BS or MS in Computer Science or an Engineering field • Experience running and troubleshooting modern Linux systems and services in production • 2+ years of experience developing reliable production-grade software in Java, Go, or similar languages • Proficiency with at least one automation technology such as Terraform, Chef, or Puppet • Experience designing and deploying mission-critical complex distributed systems • Excellent critical thinking and communication skills • Desire to learn from and educate peers
