📋 Description

• Develop, drive, and execute the long-term vision and strategy for Corporate Payments cross-cutting and core services • Define and implement the architectural roadmap for the Bill Pay platform • Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java and Spring Boot applications running in AWS Cloud • Build and enhance event-driven services using Apache Kafka • Develop and maintain PostgreSQL and Oracle database solutions, including SQL development and Oracle stored procedures • Collaborate with Corporate Payments engineering teams to reuse development practices, services, and components • Implement engineering practices that reduce time-to-market while maintaining quality and reliability • Foster innovation, collaboration, empowerment, and continuous learning within the engineering team

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience • Strong experience developing applications using Java and Spring Boot • Experience developing and deploying applications on AWS Cloud • Experience building event-driven applications using Apache Kafka • Experience developing and supporting applications using PostgreSQL and Oracle Database • Experience with Oracle stored procedures and SQL optimization • Experience writing high-quality automated tests, including unit, component, and integration tests • Strong understanding of the test pyramid • Strong understanding of software design principles, security, and compliance requirements in cloud and data environments • Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and technical communication skills • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment with changing priorities • Preferred: experience in financial services or payments, cloud-native SaaS applications, and geographically distributed engineering teams
