Description

• Lead across three domains: People, Process and Technology • Attract, inspire, grow and retain exceptional engineers • Partner with the Product team to define a vision and roadmap for the 1upHealth platform • Lead the Engineering teams that build data pipelines, services and tools to manage our customers’ data • Partner with teams across the organization to execute on the roadmap and vision with velocity and predictability • Partner with the Product and Implementations teams to ensure that our customers’ data is of high quality and provides the maximum value to our customers • Work across the organization to optimize the 1upHealth platform for scalability while reducing its overall cost of operation • Deliver software products using Agile scrum methods and foster a metrics-based software development culture

Requirements

• The drive to build a positive, engaging work environment where everyone can bring their whole selves to work. • Passion to drive organizational and technical operational excellence for enterprise cloud-based products and services. • Technical ability to problem solve with engineers and drive technical trade-offs and decisions. Previous hands-on experience as a software developer and technical leader is a must. • Experience with modern data technologies (e.g. Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, Apache Iceberg, etc), and serverless and/or container-based architectures. • Ability to increase team performance with Agile scrum and Kanban development methods while minimizing technical debt. • The ability to communicate effectively with both engineers and executive leadership. • Experience including 5+ years managing team(s) of Software and Data Engineers, and a BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field or equivalent experience.
