Description

• Technical Sales Engineer - EMEA & APAC • AVOXI is a fast growing company helping customers move communications services to the cloud as part of their overall Application Modernization programs. • Through the development of its communications platform, AVOXI is successfully serving a large and growing population of global enterprise clients, with 70% of its clients located outside the United States. • To fuel additional platform growth, AVOXI took on an additional external investment in 2022. • As part of this next evolution of the company, AVOXI is looking to expand the Solution Engineering team with the Technical Sales Engineer - EMEA & APAC position. • AVOXI is building products that make business communications faster, simpler and smarter. • We are looking for superstars to join us on this adventure. • We are currently looking for an amazing Technical Sales Engineer to cover the EMEA and APAC regions to join our team and support our robust Sales Team and customers. • Collaborate with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and develop sales strategies to drive revenue growth • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understand their needs and requirements, and provide technical solutions to meet their needs • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential customers to showcase the features and benefits of our products and services • Prepare technical proposals and quotations, and respond to requests for proposals (RFPs) and requests for quotes (RFQs) • Conduct technical evaluations of products and services and provide recommendations to customers • Develop and deliver technical training programs for customers, partners, and internal teams • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market conditions to identify new opportunities and improve product positioning • Provide feedback to product development teams to improve product features and functionality. • Collect and document competitive intelligence to share with the Product team. • Attend trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to network with potential customers and partners • Provide technical expertise for customer platform and infrastructure integrations with the AVOXI platform as the subject matter expert. • Understand and keep up with regulatory and security compliance requirements. • This resource will report to the Chief Product Officer. • The ideal candidate has: • Proven work experience as a Sales Engineer with a track record selling complex enterprise solutions. • Experience in global telephony, VoIP and or contact center solutions. • Ability to forge strong, long-lasting relationships with senior executives. • Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy to understand manner. • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Fluency in English and preference for fluency in at least one other language spoken in the APAC region. • Excellent presentation and creativity skills. • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience. • Willingness to travel within the region and to the US as required. • If you are passionate about technology and sales, and have the technical expertise to provide innovative solutions to our customers, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity. • Perks: • Competitive Salary & Benefits • Local Remote Work Opportunities • MacBook Pro computers • Opportunities for development and growth in a fast-paced global company • About AVOXI: • AVOXI, leading communication as a service (CaaS) provider, offers virtual phone numbers in 120+ countries to meet the international calling needs and contact center requirements for its clients. • Integrating with contact centers to leverage cost savings and optimize functionality, AVOXI delivers international toll-free numbers, local phone numbers worldwide, and SIP trunks to global clients. • AVOXI serves the travel, airline, and hospitality industries; online retail and consumer durable goods industries; the gaming industry; and more, by extending the life and enhancing the capabilities of contact center platforms. • AVOXI’s virtual number management platform includes 20+ advanced features such as call forwarding, call recording, conference calling, and virtual attendant. • Our commitment to exceptional customer service and superior call quality drives our ongoing expansion, development, and partnerships. • Visit www.avoxi.com for more information and pricing. • NOTE: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. • The employee may perform other related duties as negotiated to meet the ongoing needs of the organization. • The employee is able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation. • Employment is contingent upon passing a background check.
