Description

• Creating and implementing an education market sales strategy for the region. Driving revenue and building relationships with new & existing Education accounts. Making warm and cold calls to prospective customers. Creating, nurturing and developing relationships with decision-makers at universities and school districts. Demonstrating/Presenting Biamp solutions, participating in Education trade shows and local events. Working with Sales Reps, Integrators, and Consultants to create opportunities in the Education market. Gaining working knowledge of the Biamp platform. Identifying end-users in Higher Education and K-12. Assisting with project navigation. Collaborating with Field Sales Engineers on system design. Monitoring competition and industry technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related field • 5+ years of experience selling audio, video, and control solutions in Education • Keen understanding of the commercial AV landscape • Understanding of integrated audio/video systems • Fluent in computer technologies, networked audio systems, and DSP technology • Excellent written, verbal & presentation skills • Decision-making ability • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM, and Power BI • Sales skills training • Knowledge of AV technology • Knowledge of procurement policies and IT needs in Education • Customer service-oriented
