Description

• Prospect with a "hunter" mentality via phone, internet, fieldwork, referrals, and industry networking • Independently identify and generate new sales opportunities • Contact and conduct initial discovery with customers via phone and email • Facilitate face-to-face meetings, present proposals and solutions, close business on the phone, in Google Meet, or in person  • Collaborate internally with the team on pricing strategy and account implementation plans • Establish credit terms with clients in coordination with company goals and directives • Manage individual sales funnel information regarding all prospective customers in the required format • Sell CT Exchanges’ core suite of fright  services - Full Truck, LTL, Final Mile, and Drayage • Review weekly/monthly sales activities and prospective customers with Management • Engaging in self-development & training opportunities, both internal & external • Reports to Head of the Brokerage - CT Exchange

Requirements

• 5+ year sales experience in the Transportation Brokerage Industry • A phenomenally strong communicator • Engaging and compelling presentation skills • A positive and open-minded attitude • An ability to operate within the gray and find creative or out-of-the-box solutions when faced with ambiguity • Demonstrated ability to challenge the way customers think about their business • RFP or contract experience • Ability to travel for client meetings and engagements (less than 20%) • Values a diverse and inclusive work environment • Growth mindset, with a focus on customers
