Description

• Managing key financial processes and ensuring governance and accuracy of financial records • Managing a team of finance professionals • Overseeing daily accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, and Revenue Recognition • Ensuring activities in accounting department meet statutory and internal reporting deadlines • Responsible for statutory compliance, taxation, and more complex accounting tasks when needed • Overseeing regulatory reporting in compliance with necessary standards • Supporting month-end and year-end financial close processes • Preparing and publishing timely financial statements • Maintaining accounting systems and tools • Implementing and maintaining accounting procedures and best practices • Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies • Managing and coordinating work of external accountants • Communicating with clients, tax authorities, auditors, consultants, and other institutions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance • 5+ years of combined accounting and finance experience • Previous experience with leadership or supervision • ACCA, CPA, or CMA qualifications • Experience with international accounting standards, procedures, and taxation • Experience with external auditors and accountants • Strong MS Dynamics knowledge • Excellent accounting software experience - Business Central, SAP, NetSuite, etc. • Strong MS Excel skills • Complex problem solving and strong communication skills • Strong cross-functional collaboration in similar or larger size companies • Independence in work and result-oriented approach • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
