Description

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. • Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with management to develop annual budgets and financial forecasts based on historical data and market trends. • Tax Compliance: Manage and oversee tax filings, ensuring adherence to local tax regulations and optimizing tax strategies to minimize liabilities. • Internal Controls: Establish and maintain internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure financial data integrity. • Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis, identify key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide actionable insights to improve financial performance. • Audit Support: Coordinate and facilitate audits conducted by external auditors, providing necessary documentation and explanations as required. • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements in financial workflows, reporting systems, and data management to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA certification is required. • Proven experience as a CPA or in a similar role, preferably in the franchise or retail industry with a US client is highly preferred. • Strong knowledge of Philippine accounting principles, tax laws, and regulatory requirements. • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and advanced MS Excel skills. • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to interpret complex financial data. • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders. • Ability to work independently in a remote setting while meeting deadlines and managing priorities effectively.
